Boy Scouts Annual Report
– Balancing a scouting centre’s year – across mediums –
I was tasked with creating the annual report of a Boy Scouts centre in Prague. Being the largest of its kind in the Czech Republic, it regularly produces this report not only because it has to, but also for its love of the things they do.
Apart from the regular — statistics, financial report, photos and stories — this year’s report (printed on 100% recycled paper) features a map, containing all of the centre’s activity across the country, pinpointing every event precisely in its season, number of days spent on the trip and who was on it. This is very hard to show at small scale in print (there are close to 200 events). That’s why I also made a digital companion where you can filter the events and browse it at your own pace.
